Abstract:

This article presents an abridged translation of ERS/ESTS clinical practice guideline on fitness for curative intent treatment of lung cancer into Russian. The recommendations cover a comprehensive assessment of the patient’s condition with the participation of a multidisciplinary team, including assessment of general condition, pulmonary function, exercise testing, cardiovascular status, and comorbidities, preoperative rehabilitation (prehabilitation), choice of surgical approach, and overall risk assessment.
