OBJECTIVE

To study the effectiveness of the drug Reamberin in the complex therapy of patients with chronic cerebral ischemia (CCI) and cognitive disorders.

MATERIAL AND METHODS

Patients with CCI (n=35) were randomized into two groups: in the control group (n=19), patients received standard therapy according to Clinical Guidelines, in the main group (n=16), in addition to standard therapy, intravenous drip Reamberin 1.5% solution for infusions of 400 ml daily, course — 10 days. In accordance with the purpose of the study, cognitive status parameters were determined.

RESULTS

In the main group of patients, in the dynamics of infusion therapy with Reamberin, by the 11th day of observation, the average score in completing MoCA test tasks increased by 17%, delayed reproduction — by 41%, orientation — by 13% (p<0.05). With the addition of Reamberin to treatment, statistically significant positive changes in the degree of adaptation and mental stability relative to the control were recorded (p<0.05). More pronounced positive dynamics in the volume of auditory short-term and long-term memory compared to the control was established in the main group.

CONCLUSION

The results obtained indicate the need for further studies to evaluate the effectiveness of the drug Reamberin in patients with CCI.
