This review of the literature provides current evidence on the effects of vitamin D on women’s reproductive health. The results of most clinical studies demonstrate its association with the successful conception and prolongation of pregnancy. Hypovitaminosis D is associated with a risk of developing polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, and uterine leiomyoma. The effectiveness of the use of vitamin D in its deficiency to normalize reproductive function in women is also demonstrated. The keywords are used to search for literature sources in domestic and foreign databases: eLibrary, MedLine, PubMed, Embase, CINAHL for the period from 2015 to 2019.
