INTRODUCTION

To form a regional demographic policy, it is necessary to have information about the reproductive intentions of young people.

OBJECTIVE. TO STUDY THE REPRODUCTIVE ATTITUDES, LIFESTYLE, VALUE ORIENTATIONS AND

Awareness of measures to preserve the reproductive health of student.

MATERIALS AND METHODS

An observational one-stage anonymous study was conducted using a self-filled questionnaire created on the Yandex Forms service and containing closed-type questions in order to collect information about reproductive attitudes, lifestyle, health, medical activity and medical awareness of medical students (n=1517).

RESULTS

The results of the study testify to the reduced value of the family and children, the available reserves for the implementation of reproductive intentions, and the preservation of the reproductive health of medical students. Information about the ideas of medical students about measures to preserve health, their needs for information and educational measures based on a gender approach, allow us to determine the directions for the formation of reproductive behavior and health of the population in the pre-generative period at the regional level

CONCLUSIONS

The proposed methodological approaches to the study of reproductive attitudes, lifestyle, value orientations and awareness of measures to preserve the reproductive health of students provide the necessary information to the regional authorities in the formation of demographic development programs.
