Abstract:

Based on the pathopsychological analysis, the author suggests a hypothesis of integrative basis of negative disorders of cognition in schizophrenia. The disorders are proposed to be related to the infringement of the general principle of CNS functioning — the domination of the process unifying cognitive, subjective-psychological, neurophysiological components of individuality.
