Abstract:

Infertility is a problem faced by about 15% of married couples worldwide, and approximately 49% of all infertile marriages are due to a morphofunctional malfunction in the female. In this case, they talk about the presence of female infertility, which may be associated with a variety of diseases or disorders in the reproductive system of a woman. Inflammatory diseases of female pelvis (IDFP) are a serious public health problem that has a significant impact on the health of women of reproductive age. Infectious agents are one of the main causes of IDFP. Factors such as a large number of sexual partners, the use of intrauterine contraceptives, low social status and surgical interventions can increase the risk of developing these diseases. IDFP can take various clinical forms, including salpingitis, oophoritis, tubo-ovarian abscess, endometritis, etc. The clinical manifestations of IDFP can be diverse and include symptoms such as abdominal pain, dysuria, meno- and metrorrhagia, purulent discharge from the genital tract and an increase in body temperature. Taking into account the variety of clinical manifestations and the potential danger of complications, in particular, the development of infertility, early detection and treatment of IDFP is an important scientific problem of modern gynecology and obstetrics to preserve health and prevent complications accompanied by disorders in the reproductive system of women.
