Stress-associated disorders, anxiety and depression in women in the perinatal period are the most important medical and social problem at the intersection of obstetrics and psychology. Using methods for determining the type of psychological component of the gestational dominant (PCGD), reflecting the nature of the main attitudes of a pregnant woman to the most important aspects of her life, one can obtain information about her current psychological status.
OBJECTIVE
To study the features of the psychological component of the gestational dominant in pregnant women before and after completing perinatal preparation programs.
MATERIAL AND METHODS
The type of psychological component of gestational dominant was de-termined before and after the use of medical, social and psychological methods in 273 pregnant women in the group who underwent perinatal training according to the author's program Con-scious Motherhood and in 264 pregnant women who studied in a traditional school of mother-hood.
RESULTS
Based on the results of the questionnaire, it was found that the formation of the optimal type of gestational dominant in relation to childbirth and the child occurs only in 50% of re-spondents. When assessing the effectiveness of the perinatal training used, it was found that af-ter training according to the program Conscious Motherhood, the optimal type of gestational dominant was formed 2.5 times more often in relation to oneself, 3.5 times more often in relation to lifestyle, 10 times more often in relation to childbirth, 3 times more often in relation to the child and 4 times more often in relation to the husband.
CONCLUSION
The results of the study can be considered as a basis for the formation of psychoso-cial and medical methods for psychological support of pregnant women in the third trimester. It is advisable to screen the Pregnant Woman Relationship Test to determine the type of psycho-logical component of the gestational dominant and the possibility of their correction using the perinatal preparation program aimed at forming a conscious attitude to parenthood.
