Abstract:

The article presents a review of the scientific literature about myomectomy during pregnancy and cesarean section. The indications for myomectomy during pregnancy and caesarean section have not been fully determined. A number of authors believe that myomectomy should be performed in the delayed period because of the high risk of intra- and postoperative complications. However, the situation has changed over the last 5 years, and many researchers believe that myomectomy during pregnancy and delivery is not only effective, but also economically feasible.
