The investigation enrolled 80 patients with chronic endometritis; 40 patients of them used general magnetic therapy along with traditional treatment; the other 40 patients received drug treatment alone. An immunohistochemical study of endometrial biopsy specimens was conducted to determine the expression of estrogens and progesterone before and after treatment and lipid peroxidation was also examined. General magnetic therapy was ascertained to promote the recovery of sex-steroid receptor expression in the cells of glands of the endometrium, its thickness increase by the occurrence of an implantation window, and the normalization of lipid peroxidation, which is an important mechanism for the efficiency of treatment for chronic endometritis and its related female fertile dysfunction.
