The methodological recommendations on the fecal microbiota transportation for human diseases treatment based on own experience, the comprehensive analysis of national and international literature were developed. These recommendations provide detailed description of the medical procedure, specifically the fecal microbiota transplantation via the enema method. The aim of the medical procedure is to restore the intestinal microbiota composition. The methodological recommendations include specific instructions for donor selection and assessment, donor material storage, indications and contraindications for the procedure, strategies for the recipient evaluation, and the comprehensive description of the fecal microbiota transplantation procedure. The recommendations are intended for profile specialists in gastroenterology, endocrinology, therapy, and transplantology.
