OBJECTIVE

The goal is to conduct an ultrasound dopplerographic assessment of the state of utero-placental-fetal blood flow in pregnant women with varicose veins (VV) of the genitals.

MATERIAL AND METHODS

Ultrasound dopplerographic assessment of the state of utero-placental-fetal blood flow was performed in 65 pregnant women: 45 of them with VV of the genitals, who made up the I — group and II-control group -20 healthy pregnant women. The research was carried out on the Aloka SD SSD 3500 (Japan) using convexic and sector transducers with a frequency of 3.5 and 5 MHz.if necessary, a transvaginal sensor was used.

RESULTS

Analyzing the results of vascular ultrasound of pregnant women with complicated VV of the genitals, a significant increase in resistance in both uterine arteries (UA) (61%), an increase in resistance index and pulsation index, and a decrease in diastolic blood flow, characteristic of arteries with high resistance, was revealed. Hemodynamic parameters in the the midbrain artery fetal remained normal in all pregnant women.

CONCLUSION

The hemodynamic data of the studied group 1 correspond to blood flow disorders of degree 1A, which indirectly indicates a compensatory reaction of the vascular system of the utero-placental blood flow and fetal blood flow, as well as the absence of a tendency to increase the severity of fetoplacental insufficiency.
