The lecture is devoted to the ultrasound anatomy of the gallbladder and biliary tract. Subcostal and intercostal ultrasound approaches in the examination of the gallbladder, biometrics of the gallbladder were considered. The ultrasound anatomy of the intrahepatic bile ducts, the common hepatic and common bile ducts, the anatomy of the major duodenal papilla (Vater), the sphincter apparatus of the biliary tract are presented. Knowledge of anatomy is the basis of ultrasound examination of the gallbladder and biliary tract.
