Abstract:

Today, radical surgical intervention is still one of the main methods of treatment for the majority of non-organ tumors in the retroperitoneal space. The rapid development of minimally invasive surgery in the last 10 years has been accompanied by an increase in the number of publications devoted to laparoscopic surgery of retroperitoneal formations. Minimally invasive surgery is a safe and technically feasible alternative to traumatic laparotomy access for localized tumors. The article presents a series of clinical observations and a review of the literature on this problem. Further accumulation of experience in performing this type of surgery and follow-up of these patients will make it possible to evaluate the long-term results and form criteria for selecting patients for minimally invasive treatment.
