Abstract:

A clinical case of a rare solid pseudopapillary tumor of the pancreas with local recurrence and metastases in liver and anterior abdominal wall is represented. Despite typical age and gender features of this tumor, such aggressive course is extremely rare. Literature data for incidence, diagnostics, treatment and long-term results in patients with this type of pancreatic neoplasia are given.
