But sometimes situations arise when, in the absence of pain in the early postoperative period, chronic postoperative pain is formed 2—6 months after surgery. Similar clinical observations, such as the case of patient K., who, 5 months after thoracoscopic removal of hamartoma of the middle lobe of the right lung, developed intense neuropathic pain, the successful treatment of which was possible only with a comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic approach using adequate diagnostic and treatment tools.
