Abstract:

Anxiety-depressive disorders (ADD) and stroke are ranked among top ten diseases in the list of the World Health Organization. Comorbid cerebrovascular diseases and ADD worsen the clinical picture, each aggravating the progression and severity of the other. The detailed study of etiopathogenetic correlations between ADD and stroke can assist in the development of the unified pharmacological approach to their treatment.
