OBJECTIVE
To study the organizational structure and indicators of reproductive health protection of minors in the territories with medical institutions subordinate to the Federal Medical and Bio-logical Agency.
MATERIAL AND METHODS
The authors organized monitoring and conducted a retrospective analysis of data from the information resource of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency (socfm-ba.ru) for 2022 and 2023. in terms of providing outpatient and inpatient gynecological medical care as part of a set of measures to protect the reproductive health of minors.
RESULTS
According to the Federal Medical and Biological Agency, in 2023, 64% of all girls sub-ject to examination were covered by preventive examinations, which does not meet the target indicator of the federal project for 2023 (75%). According to the results of preventive examina-tions, 89.9% were assigned to health group I in 2023, 8.0% to group II, 1.8% to group III, 0.116% to group IV, and 0.124% of girls to group V. In the structure of morbidity among girls aged 0—17 in 2023, the leading diseases are menstrual disorders (66.3%), inflammatory diseases of the reproductive system (21.0%) and non-inflammatory diseases (5.8%). Most girls in 2023 — 1104 (61.8%) used barrier methods of contraception, combined oral contraceptives were used by 539 (30.2%) girls, spermicides — by 107 (6.0%) girls. Compared with the data for the Russian Federation for 2022, the proportion of abortions among minors in the service areas of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia is 5 times lower in the age group under 14 years and 17.5% lower in the age group 15—17 years.
CONCLUSION
In order to improve work on protecting the reproductive health of girls, it is neces-sary, among other things, to conduct preventive information work with teenagers and their par-ents to prevent early onset of sexual activity by teenagers, inform teenagers and their parents about modern means of contraception for abortion prevention, ensure coverage of minors with preventive examinations in accordance with the target indicators of the federal project.
