Data concerning the role of molecular patterns associated with damage in preeclampsia are presented. The modern classification of these molecules and their receptors are given. The signaling pathways of toll-like receptors binding these molecules to adaptors and as a result of the expression of pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines are given. The role of these molecules in the development of vascular endothelial dysfunction and consequently the blood pressure increase during pregnancy is a key symptom of preeclampsia. The possible mechanisms of these molecules contribution to kidney damage, the development of inflammation and the induction of podocyturia are considered. It is also noted that they can not only induce inflammation but also promote tissue regeneration.
