Chronic endometritis is one of the most acute problems of modern gynecology. This is due to the high frequency of this problem in reproductive-aged women, to the significance of endometrial injury as one of the causes of miscarriage, infertility, poor outcomes of assisted reproductive technologies, and worse quality of life in the women. Objective: to improve the efficiency of therapy in patients with chronic endometritis. Subjects and methods. A total of 116 patients with chronic endometritis and reproductive dysfunction were examined. All the patients were divided into 2 groups: 1) 86 women received intrauterine laser therapy (a urologic nozzle was applied) in combination with Panavir gel (a study group); 2) 30 patients had only basic therapy including antibacterial, conditioning, and vitamin therapies (a control group). Clinical, ultrasound, and morphological studies were used. Results. Combined treatment in women with infertility and chronic endometritis is a combined intrauterine laser therapy with Panavir gel, which largely enhances the efficiency of treatment in patients with chronic endometritis, has a positive effect on the structural and functional state of the endometrium and uterine blood flow, and contributes to the higher efficiency of assisted reproductive technology programs and to the occurrence of spontaneous pregnancies. Conclusion. The local influence of a physical factor in conjunction with an immune one determines a qualitatively new therapeutic effect. It is reasonable to use combined therapy (intrauterine laser therapy in combination with Panavir gel) in patients with chronic endometritis and reproductive dysfunction.
