To evaluate the efficacy of vagilac in preventing and treating vaginal dysbiosis, 70 pregnant women aged 18 to 40 years at 36-39 weeks' gestation were examined. Group 1 comprised 30 pregnant women with bacterial vaginosis; Group 2 included 40 pregnant patients who received antibacterial therapy for acute or chronic infectious extragenital infection as exacerbations. 30 patients in Group 1 and 20 patients in Group 2 took the probiotic vagilac 10-14 days before delivery for the treatment of bacterial vaginosis and for the prevention of vaginal dysbiosis due to the intake of antibiotics. The oral probiotic vagilac was found to be highly effective in treating pregnant women with bacterial vaginosis and in preventing dysbiotic disorders associated with the use of antibiotics.
