Thirteen pregnant women with Stage III chronic kidney disease and chronic kidney failure (CKF) were examined and followed up to study pregnancy complications and outcomes. The time course of changes in the levels of creatinine, daily proteinuria, hemoglobin, and blood pressure was studied in different periods of gestation and postpartum. The most common obstetric complications in pregnant women with CKF were found to be the addition of preeclampsia (gestosis) and the development of fetoplacental insufficiency, which require preterm delivery in these patients. In the women with Stage III CKF and stable renal function in the absence of severe arterial hypertension and kidney disease exacerbation at the moment of conception, the likelihood of a favorable pregnancy outcome increases with pregnancy planning with the participation of an obstetrician/gynecologist and a nephrologist, with their intensive joint follow-up of pregnant women, and the prevention of preeclampsia from the early periods of pregnancy.
