The paper considers the problems associated with the etiology, pathogenesis, clinical picture, and treatment of hemorrhoids during pregnancy. The efficacy of Procto-Glyvenol was studied in the treatment of 85 pregnant women with hemorrhoids. Fifteen days after the treatment, all the pregnant women showed a considerable improvement - a reduction in the degree of clinical symptoms, such as painful defecation, rectal bleeding, and perianal itch. Procto-Glyvenol therapy was excellently and well tolerated in 96% of cases.
