OBJECTIVE

To determine the incidence and role of gastroesophageal reflux disease in VMR pathogenesis.

MATERIAL AND METHODS

The number of patients equal 70 with VMR diagnosis has been examined. Data, obtained from the analysis of complaints, anamnesis, results of otorhinolaryngological examination and gastroenterologist consultation were material for the research.

RESULTS AND CONCLUSION

The obtained data suggest the possible involvement of GERB in VMR pathogenesis. The used capacity of examination with essential gastroenterologist’s consultation allows to diagnose the gastroesophageal reflux in patients with VMR and predict the probability of positive effect while including antireflux drugs in complex therapy of such patients.
