In recent decades, the Russian government has set itself the task of solving the demographic situation in the country. Therefore, the clinician pays special attention to the reproductive period of a woman, violations in which can lead to infertility. Menstrual irregularities are a manifestation of various pathological conditions associated not only with disorders in the female reproductive system, but also with general systemic and endocrine diseases. Menstrual irregularities are characterized by a change in the cycle, duration and volume of menstrual blood loss. Since the 80s, the frequency of menstrual irregularities has increased by more than 7 times. Thanks to a comprehensive examination, survey, examination of women of the reproductive period with menstrual irregularities, a rational approach within the framework of therapeutic tactics is possible.
