Abstract:

Endometriosis is a chronic, benign disease, manifested by proliferation of tissue similar to the endometrial tissue outside of the uterus. Despite numerous studies on various aspects of endometriosis, the etiology and pathogenesis of this disease is still unclear. Currently, there are more than 10 theories of endometriosis. Treatments are not particularly different as in adolescents and in women of 20 to 40 years old. All available methods of treatment are acceptable for the teenagers.
