Objective - to improve the methods of early placental insufficiency (PI) diagnosis in patients with enterovirus infection (EVI) and preeclampsia. Material and methods. Comparative study included 120 pregnant women: study group (n=80) with high risk of preeclampsia, PI and EVI and control group (n=40) with normal pregnancy. The levels of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and placental growth factor (PGF) were measured. Results. Patients with preeclampsia had increased level of VEGF. The heavier the preeclampsia, the more significant is its level. Decompensated form of preeclampsia was associated with decreasing of increased VEGF level. Conclusion. The patients with severe preeclampsia have altered vascular growth factors production.
