Abstract:

Melanoma is a malignant skin pathology, the treatment of which, in case of resistance to drug treatment, is a challenge for oncologists. Having a number of morphological and radiobiological features, melanoma manifests itself as a disease sensitive to radiation therapy, especially, to hypofractional regimens. We present a literature review and a clinical case of treating a patient with multiple brain melanoma metastases, progressing on drug treatment. However, after radiation therapy, we achieved a pronounced therapeutic effect, with a significant increase in life expectancy.
