Abstract:

A clinical trial was conducted in patients with ductal adenocarcinoma of the pancreatic head, who underwent preoperative regional chemotherapy according to the standard and improved methods before radical surgical treatment. It has been shown that the use of advanced techniques, such as preoperative oily chemoembolization, can reduce the time of the procedure and its cost and has no impact on its efficiency and the number of postoperative complications.
