Ashy dermatosis is a rare condition that presents with spontaneous round oval macules with polygonal edges, well-defined borders and from a few millimeters to several centimeters in diameter. Occasionally efflorescence may merge and resemble a pattern of facing marble. At the beginning, infiltration (all the way to a compacted border) is present on the edge of erythematous macule or more pronounced inflammation is — pathognomonic sign of the development of this skin hyperpigmentation. In this article, we present three cases of ashy dermatosis. Patients of 11, 18 and 19 years old with disease duration from one to six months. Pathologic process is located symmetrically in each patient, mostly on the torso, lower and upper extremities and is presented as bluish brown elements with irregular borders. Peeling or tendency to merging are not present. Two patients did not have any subjective sensations. One patient with efflorescence located on the lower abdomen and thighs complained of mild itching of the lesions. Itching stopped on hypoallergic diet and desensitizing treatment. We did not see any other positive dynamics nether in this nineteen-year-old patient, nor in eleven-year-old girl after treatment. Based on the ashy dermatosis cases presented, we can note its benign course and resistance to therapy.
