Abstract:

The article discusses the influence of chronic facial dermatoses on patients’ quality of life, comorbid psychosomatic component in this group of patients, correlation between the severity of psychosomatic disorders and location, severity, and duration of the skin process. We provide a literature review and summary of our own experience on correction of rash leading to significant cosmetic defect by means of medical camouflage.
