Abstract:

When treating acne, dermatologists and cosmetologists give high priority to topical therapy and basic care for affected skin. In recent years, new topical drugs and skin care products for healthy and problem skin routinely enter the market. This review covers the major pathogenetic mechanisms of acne and correction of various skin conditions associated with this dermatosis.
