Objective. The study is aimed at evaluating clinical efficacy of combination therapy of psoriasis patients, having a history of neurological and cardiac diseases, using a metabolic drug Cytoflavin. Material and methods. The study included 70 patients with extensive psoriasis vulgaris. The complex treatment included metabolic drug Cytoflavin (OOO NTFF POLYSAN, Russian Federation) ad a dose of 2 tablets TID 30 min before meals for 25 days (reparation should be administered no later than 18.00 in the evening). Clinical efficacy was analyzed using PASI scores by evaluating the dynamics of some indexes, characterizing the state of endogenous intoxication, cellular and humoral immunity, and Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) before and after therapy. Results. Complex therapy including Cytoflavin contributed to significant reduction of endotoxemia symptoms, leading to decreased concentration of the average-weight molecules by 11.54% (AWM254) and 18.52% (AWM280), toxicosis criteria values by 18.57% (TC1), 20.57% (TC2), and 17.88% (TC3), circulating small-diameter immune complexes by 9%, and phagocytic activity by 11.74%, along with a decrease in PASI score by 68.46%, earlier reduction of pathological skin efflorescence, and improved quality of life of patients. Conclusion. Inclusion of the metabolic drug (Cytoflavin), having a pronounced antihypoxic, antioxidant, neurotrophic, and immunotropic effects, to the basic therapy of psoriasis patients, suffering from neurological and cardiac diseases, appears to be reasonable from the pathogenetic viewpoint.
