Abstract:

A real-time polymerase chain reaction assay was used to analyze the levels of C-JUN, JUN-B, JUN-D and C-FOS gene expression in the skin affected by psoriasis versus that in the visually intact skin before and after treatment with low-intensity laser radiation at a wavelength of 1.27 µm. This treatment was shown to substantially change the expression level of the examined genes in the affected skin.
