Abstract:

A prospective non-randomized, single-centered controlled study aimed the optimization of treatment and diagnostic algorithm of the early burn sepsis. 47 patients were included. The combination of bacterial wound colonization and procalcitonin blood level ≥2 ng\ml was the reliable marker of the early burn sepsis and indicates the necessity of de-escalation antibiotic therapy.
