Abstract:

There is still no publicly available tool to improve the quality of congenital heart disease (CHD) surgery allowing you to compare your own results with national and international data. World Society for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery carrying out its mission “to provide the highest quality of comprehensive cardiac surgical care in all patients with CHD worldwide” developed World Database for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery (WDPCHS) that is a real tool to improve quality of work and surgical outcomes surgical interventions. Database Committee invites Russian Cardiac Surgery Centers to cooperate in this field for achievement of the best results in pediatric cardiac surgery.
