Abstract:

The review is devoted to evolution of approaches to antithrombotic therapy in patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve implantation. Despite modern prostheses and transcatheter implantation techniques, the risk of stroke in early and long-term postoperative period is 2—8%. The authors discuss evolution of approaches to antithrombotic therapy in patients with sinus rhythm and atrial fibrillation undergoing transcatheter aortic valve implantation. A separate chapter is devoted to perioperative management of patients and aspects of antithrombotic therapy.
