Objective: comparative analysis of reproductive performance according to the assessment of gonadotrophic and steroid hormones production, values of Doppler examination of uterus and ovarian blood supply before and after laparoscopic myomectomy and uterine artery embolization. Material and methods: 42 patients with myoma underwent myomectomy, 23 patients underwent uterine artery embolization. Results: In both groups of patients within 1 month were noted changes of the values studied which are normalized to 6th month after laparoscopic myomectomy and to 10th month after uterine artery embolization. Conclusion: uterine artery embolization appeared to have more impact on reproductive performance in comparison with laparoscopic myomectomy.
