The Problem of postoperative complications related to malfunction of lymphatic drainage system, is complex and still unsolved in surgical practice. Lymphorrhea is most commonly found after radical surgeries of breast, pelvic organs, and the mediastinum, which is associated with the crossing of a rather large lymph vessels during lymph node dissection. The main reason for such complications is the lack of methods of intraoperative visualization of lymphatic vessels. New opportunities for the treatment of postoperative lymphorrhea arise from the application of photodynamic therapy.
