Abstract:

The article provides recommendations for the management of patients with concomitant valvular heart disease. Briefly highlighted modern ideas about the epidemiology, pathogenesis, classification and diagnosis of heart defects. The main recommendations for assessing the risk of cardiac complications in non-cardiac surgery in patients with pathological valve apparatus of the heart are given. The data on the principles of conservative treatment, management of anesthesia and intraoperative monitoring, as well as the features of perioperative management for certain types of valvular heart disease are presented. The main criteria for assessing the quality of medical care are given.
