Abstract:

The literature review contains data about functions of glycogen synthase kinase-3 (GSK-3) in the cell and its role in the functioning of the nervous tissue, an analysis of current research on the participation of GSK-3 in the pathogenesis of affective disorders and schizophrenia and effect of psychotropic drugs on the activity of the kinase.
