Results of an analysis of inpatients with multiple sclerosis in neurological units of Karaganda hospitals from 2006 to 2013 are presented. The following characteristics were identified: higher percentage of women of the age of 24—34, the prevalence of primary progressive and secondary progressive forms of multiple sclerosis that are most prognostically unfavorable, the level of disability of 52%. Attention is drawn to the fact that only 14% of the patients participate in therapeutic programs.
