Abstract:

The literature on the quality of life of patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) is reviewed. The review comprises the results obtained using SF-36 and other specialized questionnaires. Correlations of quality of life with clinical and psychological characteristics of patients with MS are presented. The results of the large surveys on quality of life in Russian patients receiving preventive treatment are summarized.
