Abstract:

The paper characterizes clinical, hormonal, and immune parameters in 114 patients with infertility caused by hypothyroidism without autoimmune thyroiditis (AIT) (n=60) and with hypothyroidism in the presence of AIT (n=54) living under anthropogenic load. A control group comprised 30 apparently healthy women. Data on the blood levels of trace elements in the study female groups are given. Correlations are found between blood trace element levels and hormonal and immune status in the examinees. Treatment policy is determined in this category of patients. The efficiency of combination therapy has increased while incorporating multivitamins and physiotherapy into its regimen.
