One of the most important problems facing present-day stomatology is the treatment of the patients with the use of the methods suitable for routine practical work and ensuring long-term remission. For this reason, the present review is focused on the technical approaches to the management of oral pathology with the application of probiotic strains with special reference to lactobacteria. It is shown that some of them exert ummunomodulating and anti-inflammatory action, activate phagocytosis and synthesis of antibodies.
