Objective: to improve the quality of examination and treatment in patients with silent sinus syndrome. Patients and methods. The clinical, radiological, and endoscopic features of the maxillary sinuses were analyzed in 8 patients with silent sinus syndrome. The investigators used 3 dissection variants of the affected maxillary sinuses: 1) via the canine fossa; 2) via the middle nasal meatus; 3) via the inferior nasal meatus. Conclusion. Endonasal dissection is an optimal approach. The choice of sinus dissection is determined by the degree of inferior orbital wall destruction and prolapse of the orbital contents into the sinus lumen.
