In the article some clinical and morphological aspects of the chronic pharyngitis pathogenesis in adults are discussed. Two groups of patients were considered in comparison with each another: one group of patients with history of previous tonsilectomy, the other - without of surgical operations on tosils or adenoids. Morphofunctional estimation of the laryngeal lymphoid structures was made using immunohistochemical phenotyping both lymphoid and nonlymphoid cells constituent lymphoid granules and lateral ridges. Revelation of Toll-like receptors on epithelial, endothelial, dendritic cells as wall es on polymorphous nuclear leukocytes entering into composition of these hyperplastic lymphoid structures suggests that hypertropfic pharyngitis seems to be a result of innate and adaptive immunity structures interaction.
