Currently, several psycho-emotional state features are considered modifiable risk factors for chronic non-communicable diseases, particularly obesity. Particular attention is paid to psychological triggers in potentiating eating disorders, which cause excessive fat mass gain. According to the results of clinical studies, group psychotherapy is one of the effective ways to treat patients with eating disorders.
