A literature review of the infertility treatment efficacy by assisted reproductive technologies (ART) has been carried out. Key surrogate points on the way to take-home baby are highlighted and described. A review of anthropogenic, medical, social, and natural factors affecting the key surrogate points as well as the efficacy of infertility treatment using ART methods is carried out. Fluctuations in external temperature are associated with successful embryo transfer, pregnancy, and the risk of preeclampsia. The aesthetics of the living environment is a more important factor for ART than the comfort of the living environment. Studies have not shown a relationship between the outcome of ART use and the phase of the moon. In the literature, there are conflicting data on the effect of solar radiation on patient fertility, newborn survival and life expectancy. It has been shown that the patient’s psychological comfort affects the effectiveness of infertility treatment. The period of preparation of the patient for the ART procedure is accompanied by psycho-emotional stress and the need to provide emotional support to reduce the level of anxiety and minimize negative biochemical changes in the body that accompany the development of a stress reaction.
