The paper reviews the possible mechanisms of infertility development that are associated with the ejaculate microbial profile. This report attempts to study significance of microorganisms’ pathogenic properties for the formation of infertile state under the conditions of localizing an inflammatory process in the male urogenital tract, viz. the influence on fertile sperm properties (decrease in the number of sperm cells, mobility inhibition, changes in morphology and fertility). In addition, the role of organism reactivity and resistance in maintaining chronic inflammation in the male reproductive system organs is discussed.
