Objective. To study the nuclear isoforms of ER and PR expression in the endometrium of patients with tubal infertility and to evaluate its influence on IVF/ICSI outcomes. Material and methods. The endometrium of patients with tubular infertility was investigated using the immunohistochemical method. The ER-alpha, ER-beta, PR-A+B and PR-B levels were measured. Immunohistochemical data were compared with IVF/ICSI outcomes. Results. The patients with tubal infertility and IVF failure had lower endometrial ER-alpha, PR-A+B, PR-B expression compared with patients with sucsessful IVF and control group of healthy women. Conclusion. The measurement of ER-alpha, PR-A+B, PR-B expression can be used for assessment of endometrial receptivity and to make the pregnancy prognosis in patients with tubal infertility prior to IVF/ICSI.
